Thunderspire Mountains: Huge mountain range seperating the area around Drahar, Blackkeep and Laketown from Aglar, Punjar and Nerath.

Blackkeep: City of 15-20.000. Run by John Blackhand, fervent worshipper of Bane. Demi-humans have no rights in Blackkeep. Located at the sea, west of Drahar.

Punjar: Huge and seedy independent city-state in the forest of Agliir. Around 80.000 inhabitants. Famous for it's slave-trade, arena fights and association with the few surviving dragonborn of Arkhosia, whose descendants serve as army for Punjar.

Countries

Aglar: Former part of the Empire of Nerath, now a independent country run by a "Communist" Mage Council. Invaded and sacked by the Army of the White Ruin towards the end of Year 25.

Nerath: Former center of the Empire of Nerath. Run by the merchant princes, Nerath was invaded by the Army of the White Ruin and is now occupied by gnolls, demons and other evil races.

Qu'orath: Remnant of the Empire of Bael Turath, which was sundered 100 years ago, when a magical explosion centered on Bael Turath sundered the continent, even ripping up the veil to the Feywild, letting the energies in, which caused the forests of what the newcomers call Draegor to grow exponentially. Qu'orath is still clinging to the ancient ways. The noble houses (families) of Tieflings run the country in all aspects. They own all land, and other races are, while not slaves per say, not worth much more to the tieflings. However, quite a few merchant houses do trade with outside countries, including those with humans and other races.

Ebon Empire: Evil(?) empire on the east side of the continent, allegedly run by Bane himself, Exarch of the Keeper.

Freedom: Formerly a part of Qu'orath, Freedom was inspired by Darkwood Vale and claimed independence in 95 BA. It is a democracy, ruled by The People's Senate.

Darkwood Vale: Alliance of city-states run by a council called the Seven Drakes. Formerly a part of Qu'orath, but "went rogue" in Year 96 BA (before arrival) after the fall of Bael Turath. Named after the huge amount of Darkwood, a very valuable tree due to the hardness of it's wood.

Principality of Gemor: Formerly a part of Qu'orath, PoG was inspired by Darkwood Vale and claimed independence in 95 BA. The Principality of Gemor is a hereditary monarchy.

(Ancient) Empires And Other Places From The Past

Empire of Iron: Dwarven Empire that ruled most of Draegor around 5-6000 years ago.

Empire of the Sword: Hobgoblin Empire that was the first recorded empire after the mindflayers. Crushed the dwarves of the Empire of Iron and lasted for nearly 2800 years. To this day, the longest lasting empire.

Bael Turath: Human then Tiefling Empire that collapsed in 103 BA, when a huge explosion took out the entire capital.

Arkhosia: Dragonborn empire somewhere to the south, crushed by the infernal armies of Bael Turath shortly before the Great Explosion.

Empire Nerath: Human Empire that lasted less than 100 years (collapsed in 10 BA) but expanded extremely quickly.

Cendriane Empire: 3rd Eladrin empire in a row to grace Draegor. Retreats back to the Feywild after the War of the Scar in 2239 BA.
