44th session

Sonday 14th Phebroar, Year 26
As it turns out, not much had happened. The Horde of Yeenoghu was still down south, near Punjar, refugees were still fleeing the army, and things in general were going their own merry way.

Mansday 15th Phebroar, Year 26
The Swords are called to a council meeting. The council want assurances that the Swords are willing to help lead the army when the time comes. Plans are discussed, and it is quickly evident that the Council is torn on what to do.

Some want to send the Swords down to Punjar and kill Yeenoghu and whatever other generals there may be.

Some want the Swords to head to Blackkeep and make an alliance with Blackhand, in order to secure the access to the sea, while also making sure that Blackkeep doesn't ally with Yeenoghu.

Some even want the Swords to head to Blackkeep and kill John Blackhand.

While not many people can agree on what to do, it is decided to gather some great scouts and place them at every valley and pass through the mountains.

The Swords also learn that they around outnumbered about 1:2. Drahar can, along with Laketown muster about 25.000 soldiers. Yeenoghu has around 50.000, by all estimates.

After much debating, the Swords decided that they wanted more info, and maybe they would sink the navy of Punjar, so that Yeenoghu's Army wouldn't be able to use the fleet to sail to Blackkeep.

Onsday 18th Phebroar, Year 26
Arriving near Punjar, via Shadowwalk, the Swords find themselves witnessing the destruction of a great city. The Army of Yeenoghu had already breached the walls, and it looked like the city wouldn't last long. On the positive side, the armada seemed gone, with only 10-15 ships left.

The Swords quickly decided that Punjar was not possible to save, so instead, they went hunting for someone or something that could provide with some intel.

Shortly after, they stumbled/found one of the many small forts spread out around in the jungle, used for first line of defense. The fort had been taken over by gnolls. Torn created a Shadowbridge from the edge of the jungle and to the top of the wall, and the rest charged up the bridge and attacked the gnolls. Surprisingly, the gnolls were not alone. There was a huge white dragon, so combat got a bit more hairy than expected, but in the end, the dragon fled and the Swords stood back with noone to question, because they had killed everyone else. Grabbing a body and heading into the jungle to get away from anyone that might return, the Swords cast Speak with dead and had a chat with the gnoll shaman. They learned 3 things.

Next stop for the gnoll army is indeed Drahar.
They will be going over the mountains.
They will be going through a place called Devil's Pass.

Before going back to Drahar, the Swords did a ritual to see if anyone had come to the fort looking for them. As it turns out, it was full of demons, dragons and gnolls. Good thing they got out of Dodge while still possible.
