As the Swords were back in Drahar talking with the Church of Kord, The Church of the Keeper suddenly switched into the Feywild. Not having a way back, Zeke decided that it was too dangerous to leave whatever was in the Tomb of Zorich behind for anyone to come and pick up. He opened the Tomb, and got the Arcanite Reaper. Wounded and exhausted from controlling the magical spells placed to protect the Tomb, Zeke stumbled out of the church, only to run into Skalmad and his posse. After a hit from the troll king, Zeke found himself unable to use his teleportation powers to get away, and there was little he could do. He was subdued and Skalmad took the Reaper.
Ever since (almost 6 months to the day), he has been the prisoner of Skalmad, which has included daily torture-sessions and magical experiments which has left him unable to access his magical powers.
